About Andal

Built to back British business

Andal is an independent business credit broker for SMEs in England: limited companies, LLPs, and partnerships of four or more partners. We are not a lender. We search the market on your behalf and introduce finance that fits, from working capital and asset finance to commercial mortgages.

Andal exists for one reason: to get Britain's small and medium businesses funded properly. SMEs are the backbone of British industry, and when the right finance is in place they hire, build, and grow. Too often, though, finance is where good plans stall: rates that are hard to compare, terms that surface late, and hours lost to a market built for people who arrange debt for a living.

That is the work we take off your desk. Tell us about your business and the funding you need, and we search the market, explain what we find in plain terms, and leave every decision with you. We are a broker, not a lender: the finance comes from third-party lenders, and our fee is paid by the lender when a deal completes, so the service costs your business nothing.

We are a new firm, and we won't dress that up as decades of heritage. What we offer instead is attention: every enquiry is handled by a broker who knows your business, answers your questions, and stays with you from first call to completed deal. You can see the full range of business loans and commercial finance we broker, or read how our broking works in the FAQ.

This is a broker service for corporate clients only: limited companies, LLPs, and partnerships of four or more partners. Andal does not arrange personal loans, consumer credit, or any finance for individuals, sole traders, or partnerships of fewer than four partners.

What we stand for

We act for your business

You are our client. We are not tied to any single lender, and our job is finding the finance that fits your business best.

Free to you, paid by lenders

Our fees are paid by the lenders on our panel when a deal completes, not by you. There is no cost to your business for using Andal to find finance.

Small businesses first, always

SMEs are not a sideline for us; they are the whole business. Every enquiry gets our full attention, whatever its size.

Plain English, always

No jargon, no small print designed to confuse. If a term matters, we explain it before you sign anything.

Careful with your information

We only ask for what a lender needs to make a decision, and we keep it only as long as the deal (and our legal obligations) require.

No pressure, no obligation

Ask a question or start an enquiry with nothing to lose. If we can't help, we'll say so honestly, and you can walk away at any time.

Andal is a business credit broker, not a lender. We arrange introductions to third-party lenders and finance providers on behalf of our clients; we do not lend money ourselves. We act for you, the borrower, and our fees are paid by lenders on our panel when a deal completes, not by our clients. Andal acts only for corporate clients: limited companies (Ltd), limited liability partnerships (LLPs), and partnerships of four or more partners. We do not act for sole traders, partnerships of fewer than four partners, or individuals in a personal capacity, and we do not offer personal loans or consumer credit. This is what keeps Andal's business outside the scope of FCA regulation: credit broking is only a regulated activity where it concerns an "individual" borrower, and under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 2001 that definition extends to sole traders and to partnerships of two or three people. Bodies corporate and partnerships of four or more fall outside it, so Andal does not hold, and does not need, FCA authorisation for consumer credit to operate. If you are an individual, sole trader, small partnership, or looking for a personal loan, Andal is currently not able to help you.
